The invention relates to a bearing pin inserted in a bore of a rocker lever or arm for receiving a cam roller. Providing bearing pins with a through-bore is known. This design is cost-intensive and has a high dead weight. The object of the invention is to set forth a bearing pin design which can be manufactured by a low-cost production technology and has a low weight and sufficient strength. According to the invention a bearing pin 1a is provided, which has cylindrical recesses 3a running axially on both sides, and which extend up to an intermediate base 4a. <IMAGE>
