Operating method for CNC-controlled machines

In the case of numerically controlled production machines, such as industrial sewing machines, the paths which are to be followed are predetermined by a basic program by means of coordinate sets. As a result of moments of inertia and for other reasons, trailing errors occur. The invention proposes to determine the actual course of the path in a test run and to correct the desired coordinates correspondingly, preferably in real time during the test run, in order to achieve reduced trailing errors in actual production.
