The invention relates to an installation apparatus (1) for busbars (2) of a busbar system, which apparatus can be suspended by means of hook bars (3, 4, 5) on the busbars and can be fixed in a latching manner automatically, relative to a busbar and at least in the region of said busbar (2) by means of a spring-loaded lock (11) which is mounted in the apparatus such that it can pivot. The invention proposes that the lock have a plurality of locking levers (14, 15, 16, 17, 18) which are of different length and are mounted such that they can pivot independently of one another about a common axis (19) in the apparatus, the busbar being fixed in accordance with the respectively predetermined width of said busbar between the free end (31) of that locking lever (14) whose length corresponds with the bridging separation from the axis of the locking levers and the busbar which is to be fixed, and the hook part (3) which is assigned to this busbar. Such a design makes it possible to fix the busbar, whose width is in each case predetermined, over a large area and, furthermore, it is possible to identify unambiguously whether the busbar is fixed in a defined manner. <IMAGE>
