The invention relates to a profile strip, especially a roof edge strip, for motor vehicle bodies. This contains within its cross-section at least one power and/or liquid conduction line in its longitudinal direction, as a result of which assembly and disassembly of the said conduction line are made much simpler during series production of motor vehicles and/or during the recycling of the individual components.
