PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC BALL

摘要

PURPOSE:To inexpensively produce a ceramic ball of high quality by producing a relatively small spherical molded object with a diameter of 10mm or less to sinter the same. CONSTITUTION:A slurry consisting of a ceramic powder, a polymerizable monomer and a dispersing solvent is dispersed in a liquid immiscible with the slurry or in inert gas and the monomer is polymerized in this state to gel the slurry to obtain a ceramic spherical molded object. This molded object is sintered.
