MICROORGANISM EXHIBITING ANTIBACTERIAL ACTION ON GRAM-POSITIVE BACTERIA INCLUDING METHICILLIN-RESISTANT STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS (MRSA)

PURPOSE:To obtain a new microorganism useful as an agent for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases caused by Gram-positive bacteria including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and for the improvement of detrimental phenomena on animals, environment, etc., as well as human induced by Gram-positive bacteria. CONSTITUTION:This microorganism belongs to the genus Clostridium and exhibits selective antibacterial action against Gram-positive bacteria including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA).
