According to this process a liquid or solid phase, for example evening primrose seeds, introduced into the upper separator (3) is brought into contact countercurrentwise in the column (1) filled with a packing (11, 13) with a solvent liquid phase, for example hexane, introduced via (17) by applying pulses in the column using means of pulsation (37 and 39).
