The method of burning-up the fuel mixture wherein its inflammation by feeding electromagnetic pulses into the fuel mixture is characterized in that the pulses frequency is altered relating to the breakdown voltage of the fuel mixture improving the effectiveness of the combustion process and completeness of fuel burning-up and decrease of the toxicity of the combustion products.
