摘要 The description relates to the assessment of movements recurring in time and tracking moving objects in the analysis of time sequences of digital images in which binary segment functions (S) are allocated (DS) to the moving segments in the images (I) of a time sequence of digital images and the movement parameters (Z) of these moving segments are measured by the maximisation (SM) of a matching function (C). These measured movement parameters (Z) are used in a time-recurrent diagram to correct (MU) previous status values (X) which have been calculated (TU, SEL) from the corrected status values (Y) of the previous point in time or initialised (INIT) at the start of the process. In this manner the difficulties of prior art processes for movement assessment are overcome and the accuracy of the movement assessment is increased while at the same time reducing the cost.
