PURPOSE:To improve grinding efficiency and grinding accuracy, by providing guide parts in a holder main unit while a rotary tool between the guide parts and continuously grinding a machined part to be removed by the rotary tool under a condition that the guide parts are pressed to and brought into contact with reference surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A base part 3 is mounted to an arm 1 of a robot. While the base part 3 movably supports a holder main unit 4 to be reciprocated for the directionof a machined part A. The holder main unit 4, providing a pair f guide parts 12, slides on reference surfaces B in both sides of the machined part A. While a rotary tool 15, arranged between the guide parts 12, machines, for instance, grinds the machined part A. Further a tool holder, between te base part 3 and the holder main unit 4, provides an elastic member 10 to be interposed while mounted a detecting means 17 for detecting a relative position between the both base part and main unit. Accordingly, under a condition that the guide parts 12, provided inn the holder main unit 4, are pressed to and brought into contact with the reference surfaces B by driving the arm 1 of the robot, the rotary tool 15 continuously grinds the machined part A to be removed. |
