PURPOSE: To improve a technique for examining a rotor hole using ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic probe 10 is built into a housing filled with a fluid. The probe produces an ultrasonic wave that passes through the fluid toward a bag-shaped member 17 that is pressed into contact with a rotor interior wall. A lubricating ring 16 that minimizes the friction between the wall surface of a rotor hole and the bag-shaped member by supplying droplets to the wall of the rotor hole is provided around the bag-shaped member. The lubricating ring 16 forms a passage of ultrasonic waves between the wall surface of the rotor hole and the bag-shaped member. |
