PRODUCTION OF PERFLUOROALKANE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a method capable of producing a perfluoroalkane which is a coupling product from a long-chain perfluoroalkyl iodide in good yield in producing the perfluoroalkane by subjecting a perfluoroalkyl iodide to coupling reaction in the presence of zinc. CONSTITUTION:A perfluoroalkyl iodide expressed by the general formula F(CF2)nI (n is integer of 1-30) is subjected to coupling reaction in the presence of zinc and sulfolane or water to produce the objective perfluoroalkane expressed by the general formula F(CF2)2nF.
