The system for accompanying the music as well as displaying the words of song includes a ROM (1) storing the accompaniment data, a ROM (2) storing the caption data, a CPU (3) reading the caption data by the program stored in a caption program ROM (25) and providing the caption code, a CPU(4) reading the accompaniment data by the program stored in an accompaniment program ROM (27) and providing the accompaniment code, a sound IC (5) providing the sounds of the various musical instruments, and a D/A converter (7) converting the digital accompaniment output of the CPU (4) to the analog one.
