PURPOSE:To realize slow synchronous photographing without increasing an operation button for setting a stroboscopic mode. CONSTITUTION:A control means 28 executing control such as follows is provided. In the case that the first stroboscopic mode is set, a shutter is controlled at a fixed speed when the luminance of an object obtained by a photometry means 14 is set between first object luminance and second object luminance being lower than the first object luminance. When it is lower than the second object luminance, the shutter is controlled at a speed corresponding to the luminance of the object at that time and a warning means 21 is driven. In the case that the second stroboscopic mode is set, the shutter is controlled at a speed corresponding to the luminance of the object obtained by the photometry means 14. When the luminance of the object at that time is equal to or lower than the first object luminance, the warning means is driven. |
