The method provides functions to perform a change calculation by a predefined (default) rule or by a user programmed rule. A user performs programming with a keyborder (40) not to occur 1 won coins with money change. If the user sets a system flag in memory (10) to 1, the default rule is applied to calculate a money change. The rule is to calculate a change with 0 won from 1 won to 2 won, with 5 won from 3 won to 7 won, and with 10 won from 8 won to 9 won. If the user sets the system flag to 2, the change calculation is performed by the programmed upper and lower boundary values corresponding to 0 won, 5 won, 10 won, respectively.
