PURPOSE:To provide a component arranging method which decides the arrangement of a component and whose reliability is high by a method wherein common components are divided automatically into mounting machines under a proper condition. CONSTITUTION:Components which are used in common are extracted on the basis of a plurality of pieces of substrate CAD data which have been taken into from a CAD system 5. The frequency table of components to be used is drawn up on the basis of a degree at which they are used in common. All components are grouped in the order of the speed of a mounting speed on the basis of the frequency table, a mounting-machine database 6 and a component database 7. Then, the components are grouped in the order of the magnitude of a usage frequency on the basis of the frequency table in their group. Thereby, an arrangement decision table is drawn up. Then, while the arrangement decision table of the components is being referred to, the components are divided into individual mounting machines 2. |
