PURPOSE:To allow high performance drive control of a motor by detecting the voltage induced in a motor through the use of a detecting section conducting the dead time compensation, determining the frequency thereof, and restarting an inverter with the frequency thus determined. CONSTITUTION:The voltage induced in an inverter 22 on the AC output side is detected and then the frequency is detected by a frequency detecting circuit 80 based on the voltage detection signal. A pick-up switch 30 is turned ON by the frequency detection signal and then the inverter 22 is started by a dead time compensation circuit 100. |
