The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a pluraliq of different units consisting of a solid or semisolid carrier (bead), a synthetic oligomer (ligand) and an identification structure (tag) by means of which the monomers of the ligands are coded, and the use of said library for searching for novel classes of compounds and individual. The invention further relates to compounds found with the novel process and the use thereof as thrombin inhibitors.
