A slatted frame has slats which are supported in a base frame 1 by side pieces 3 so that they can be moved downwards counter to a spring force. In order to ensure fine adaptation of the slat attitude to the bodily contour of a sleeping person in the case of a metal-free design, the side pieces 3 are in each case mounted on the base frame by means of a slotted guide 5 and are spring- loaded in the direction of the slotted guide, the slotted guide 5 consisting of a vertical guide slot 6, on the one hand, and a horizontal guide pin 7 which engages in the guide slot 6, on the other hand, and of pivoting stops 8, 9 which limit the ability of the side piece 3 to pivot about the guide pin 7. <IMAGE> |
