PURPOSE:To smoothly display the color changes corresponding to movement of blood flow by subjecting the information successively formed in accordance with reflection echoes to interpolation processing with the information older by one than this information to successively form the fresh information and displaying respective pieces of the information including the fresh information. CONSTITUTION:The reflection echoes are inputted to an A/D converter 1A and the digitalized information is stored by every one field into a buffer memory 2A and is further stored in a frame memory 3A. On the other hand, the reflection echoes from the ultrasonic probe are inputted to an arithmetic circuit 1 for CFM and the speeds meeting the position of the blood flow are computed, by which the information on the color changes meeting the speeds are formed. The formed information is stored by every one field into the buffer memory 2 and the frame memories 3a to 3d. The information read out of the two frame memories is inputted to a frame interpolation circuit 6 where the information is subjected to interpolation calculation. The interpolated information is successively analogized together with the information read out of the frame memories in a DA converter and is displayed together with tomographic images on a CRT. |
