PURPOSE:To prevent mis-transmission of a picture communication terminal equipment in the automatic data reception mode. CONSTITUTION:A connection control section 6 checks whether or not an access through a line is made within a predetermined communication time zone based on a time of a connection watchdog timer 7 and whether or not the access destination dial number is a registered number which is detached by a dial in formation detection section 2 based on data from a dial information storage section 8. When the access is made at the outside of the time zone or the number is not the registered number, the manual data reception mode is set. Furthermore, an ID code of an access destination is obtained at transmission, an ID detection section 5 extracts an ID code from picture data received by a line I/F1 section and stored in a picture voice CODEC 3 and the connection control section 6 checks the ID code as to whether the node if a regular ID code or not. When no ID code is sent or the sent ID code is not the regular ID code, the mute state is set and the transmission of the ID code again is awaited and communication is interrupted after lapse of a predetermined time. |
