PURPOSE:To provide an information processor which prevents a current use state and process contents in execution from being destroyed when the information process or which operates by using a battery is disabled to operate with the battery. CONSTITUTION:This information processor is provided with a backup means 60 which saves the current use state and process contents in execution in a nonvolatile storage device in response to a voltage drop detection signal 21 which is outputted from a source voltage drop detecting circuit 20 monitoring a voltage drop of the battery and indicates that the voltage of the battery is almost too low to operate and reloads the use state and process contents in execution, saved in the nonvolatile storage device, to a main memory 30 and the registers of respective peripheral devices when the power source is turned on again. |
