PURPOSE:To stably select a communication opposite party with simple configuration by employing a tone signal frequency selection system so as to eliminate the need for discrimination processing for an address or the like in the selection of the communication opposite party thereby eliminating the need for a latch circuit or the like. CONSTITUTION:A transmission section is provided with a circuit generating a tone signal of plural frequencies revised optionally by a processing unit or externally to select a communication opposite party and in which a tone signal of a frequency of a selected kind is added to a data signal and the result is sent, and a reception section 11 is provided with a means 16 detecting the tone signal from the reception signal and outputting the received data signal only to any of selected terminal equipments 19a-19n based on the kind of the frequency of the detected tone signal. Then the identification by the tone signal frequency is known as a function of tone squelch or the like in the radio communication equipment of the FM modulation system and the function is used for a terminal equipment selection function in data communication of a computer. |
