PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic recording system multicolor recorder capable of forming a high-quality color recorded image without missing nor staining by what is called a batch transfer method in which the toner images of respective colors superposed on a latent image carrier are transferred altogether to a recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:This recorder is provided with electrostatic recording heads 2a, 2b and 2c forming an electrostatic latent image in accordance with picture information on the latent image carrier 1 by irradiating the latent image carrier 1 uniformly electrostatically charged at a specified initial potential with ion generated by discharge, plural developing devices 3a, 3b and 3c forming the toner image on the latent image carrier 1 by developing the electrostatic latent image with color toner corresponding to the picture information, 1st electrostatic chargers 5a and 6a excessively electrostatically recharging the latent image carrier 1 on which the toner image is formed over the initial potential, and 2nd electrostatic chargers 5b and 6b destaticizing the latent image carrier 1 excessively electrostatically charged by the chargers 5a and 6b to the initial potential. The toner images of plural colors formed superposing on the latent image carrier 1 are transferred altogether to the recording sheet 12 to form the multicolor recorded image. |
