PURPOSE:To make the height position of an electronic component sent out to a component taking-out position definite irrespective of the kind of the component when the electronic component is mounted on a mounting base for a component feed apparatus or the like. CONSTITUTION:A tape feeder 22 which moves a tape having sealed an electronic component 16 one pitch by one pitch and which sends out the electronic component 16 to a window part one by one is set on a mounting seat 21a on a mounting base for a component mounting apparatus. A plurality of kinds of height regulation blocks 43 are attached selectively to the lower part of a body frame 28. Depending on the kind of the electronic component 16, the height position with reference to the body frame 28 of the electronic component 16 which is fed to the window part becomes different. In this case, the height position H with reference to a mounting base on the surface of the electronic component 16 can be made definite by the height regulation blocks 43.
