摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce control delay and to prevent a combustion chamber and a reforming chamber from overheating by detecting temperature upstream of the combustion chamber using a temperature sensor, and controlling the flow rate of fuel gas in an auxiliary burning line so that the temperature detected is within a predetermined range. CONSTITUTION:A reformer 10 burns anode gas 4 from a fuel cell using cathode exhaust 7 and reforms fuel gas 1 into anode gas 2 by the heat of the burning. This device is provided with an auxiliary burning line 12 through which fuel gas is supplied to the exhaust 4 and an air line 14 through which low- temperature air is supplied to the exhaust 7. The line 12 is provided with a fuel flow control valve 13 for controlling the flow rate of fuel gas and the line 14 is provided with an air flow control valve 15 for controlling the flow rate of low-temperature air. The control valve 13 or 15 is controlled according to a temperature detected by a temperature sensor 16 for detecting temperature upstream of the combustion chamber of the reformer 10, so as to keep the upper portion of the combustion chamber at a predetermined temperature. Thereby control delay is reduced while the combustion chamber Co and a reforming chamber Re are prevented from overheating.
