PURPOSE:To provide an image display device for which a thermosensitive material capable of thermally writing/erasing images is used. CONSTITUTION:This image display device consists of a main unit 22 in which an image display widow 10 is formed, a cassette 4 which houses an image display member 2 consisting of the thermosensitive material capable of writing/ erasing the images by heat and is attachable and detachable to and from the main unit 22, a recording head 6 which is installed in the main unit 22, has plural heating elements and thermosensitively records the images on the image display member and a platen roller 8 which transports the image display member 2 while bringing the image display member 2 into contact with this recording head 6. Then, the image display device of a simple constitution using the image display member 2 of the thermosensitive recording system is obtd. The image display member 2 is housed in the cassette 4 and therefore, the exchange is easy in the case of exchanging the image display member 2 having the terminated life. |
