PURPOSE:To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material not deteriorating its conveyability even when it is rapidly processed at a high temperature with a developing solution containing no hardening agent and not deteriorating operational environment by malodor and capable of forming an image high in sharpness. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material in the form of a sheet has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on at least one side of a support having a thickness of 70-120mum and a Young's modulus of elasticity of >=550kg/mm<2>, and its swelling rate of the hydrophilic colloidal layers is <=80% in the developing solution, when it is rapidly processed with a developing solution containing substantially no hardening agent.
