PURPOSE:To provide a backing-up apparatus which can hold a wiring board simply and satisfactorily irrespective of whether an electronic component is mounted or not on a face to be backed up of the wiring board. CONSTITUTION:Backup pins 11 which are held by a backup plate 16 so as to be freely protrude and lower and which are provided with suction holes 11a at their inside are provided. Spherical bodies 15 which block up the suction holes 11a from the lower direction are held elastically inside the pins 11 from the lower direction. The pins 11 which come into contact with electronic components 30 which have already been mounted on a wiring board 3 are lowered and driven when a positive pressure acts inside a positive-pressure chamber 12. The pins 11 which directly support the wiring board 3 are energized to 3 rise direction, they lower and drive the spherical bodies 15 when a negative pressure acts inside negative-pressure chambers 13, a valve is opened, and the wiring board 33 can be supported by upper-end faces of the pins 11. |
