<p>PURPOSE:To provide the information retrieval system on which retrieval conditions can easily be set by combining retrieval conditions with a retrieval result and are also intuitively set. CONSTITUTION:The retrieval conditions are set by utilizing icons through an icon condition setting part 5 which sets the retrieval conditions to an icon at the time of condition setting, an icon condition resetting part 11 which resets the retrieval conditions set to the icon once, and an icon condition storage part 13 which stores composite retrieval conditions as an icon. The retrieval conditions are analyzed by a condition analysis part 2 which analyzes the retrieval conditions, an icon condition analysis part 6 which analyzes the retrieval condition set to the icon, and an icon composite condition analysis part 10 which combines and analyzes retrieval conditions set to plural icons to retrieve information that a data base management system 3 manages. The retrieval result is displayed or stored as a retrieval result icon in an icon retrieval result storage part 12.</p> |
