PURPOSE:To inform an operator of the open state of a cap for a long time by measuring the time while the cap is opened and automatically generating warning tone after the prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A cap of a compact disk (CD cap) is opened by operating a compact disk open button by an operator. At the time, an open state of a CD cap is detected by a CD cap opening/closing sensor 116, while a power supply of a system is turned on, and the time of an open state of the CD cap is measured by a timer 113 from this point of time. In this case, a timer value indicating a monitoring time is set before the timer 113 is operated, and this value is continued to subtract during the CD cap is an open state. When the timer value becomes zero, data for alarm sound to an amplifier 114 is sent and alarm sound is generated from a loudspeaker 115, and the leaving the CD cap in an open state is informed to the operator. Thereby, accumulation of dust on an optical pickup can be prevented. |
