PRODUCTION OF RESISTOR ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a resistor element being employed in a sliding variable resistor in which the process yield is increased. CONSTITUTION:A resistor film 4 is formed of a resistor paste, viscosity of which is previously conditioned by a solvent having properties for dissolving a substrate 2, on the substrate 2 and left as it is for a predetermined time. When the resistor film 4 begins to dive into the substrate 2, pressure is applied by means of a thermal metal mold 3 to alleviate collapse of the resistor film 4 thus increasing the process yield.
