<p>PURPOSE:To furthermore improve operability by improving a cursor controlling method in a navigation system. CONSTITUTION:This navigation system is provided with the operation means for enabling a user to spcify the execution of a required function, a reading means for reading out display information from a storage medium storing the display information and a display means for displaying the read display information on a screen. When the picture to display in a display means is switched to a picture including at least one key pat 21-23, which is to be selected by an operation means, a cursor 10 on a screen is positioned on any one of the key pats 20 to 23. After initializing the cursor position, the cursor 10 is successively moved to the positions of other key pats in accordance with prescribed one touch operation of the operation means.</p> |
