摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a positive electrode active material layer which can enhance a utilization factor of a positive electrode active material an further, mitigate stress generated in expansion/contraction of the negative electrode active material to prolong a cycle life of a battery. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution containing a water soluble active material (V2O5,) which becomes a xerogel when dried is applied to a current collector 3. The water solution applied to the collector 3 is dried while being subjected to ultrasonic vibration. Accordingly, a layer structure in a positive electrode active material layer is formed irregular by the ultrasonic vibration. Consequently, duffusivity of negative electrode active material ions into the positive electrode active material layer is enhanced and moreover, stress generated in the positive electrode active material layer because of charge/discharge of a battery is dispersed.
