PURPOSE:To prevent the discarding of parts due to improper maintenance by knowing appropriately the lamp replacement time of the light and the cleaning time of the recognition unit by measuring changes in the illumination intensity of the light for part recognition and automatically informing the operator of any reduction in the illumination intensity thereby stopping the electronic part mounting equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a part recognition error occurs (step 11) after starting the production of the product printed circuit boards using an electronic part mounting equipment, the electronic part mounting equipment measures the illumination intensity of the light for part recognition and compares (step 12) it with a predetermined value. When the measured illumination intensity is lower than the predetermined value, the need for lamp replacement is displayed on the display unit of the electronic part mounting equipment (step 18), after which the producing action of the electronic part monting equipment is stopped (step 19). Further, when the measured illumination intensity is higher than the predetermined value, the recognition error rate per unit time is compared with a predetermined value (step 13) and the part recognition data is prepared again automatically (step 21). |
