<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electric vehicle which is usable safely and easy to be handled by providing a step which is made free to lift or level to allow riding by a method wherein a guidance running is performed by the lifting of the step or a manual running by the leveling thereof interlocking a switching circuit to switch the guidance running and the manual running as done along with a guidance line. CONSTITUTION:A step which is free to lift or level to allow riding when it is leveled is provided at the center part of a drive wheel and in a switching circuit 26 to switch a guidance running and a manual running, and a mode changeover switch 30 is changed over by the lifting or leveling of the step during a running. A guidance running is performed when the step is lifted while a manual running when riding is possible by the leveling of the step. The step is provided with a step switch 31 adapted to be turned ON or OFF by the lifting or leveling of the step and the mode changeover switch 30 is turned to the guidance running or the manual running position by the turning ON or OFF of the step switch 31. Then, a pressure sensing switch 27 provided on the top surface of the step detects that a user rides to disable a drive motor 25 as long as the pressure sensing switch 27 is not turned ON during the manual running.</p> |
