CLEANING OIL FOR METAL WORKING

PURPOSE:To obtain the oil which is used for cleaning a metal sheet such as an aluminum sheet, a cold-rolled sheet, or a galvanized steel sheet before the working of the sheet and thereby provides the metal sheet an excellent press workability. CONSTITUTION:The oil comprises 5-50 pts.wt. at least one higher alcohol and 95-50 pts.wt. light mineral oil and has a viscosity at 40 deg.C of 10cSt. If necessary, the oil may contain 0.1-10 pts.wt. at least one rust preventive selected from the group consisting of an alkali or alkaline earth metal salt of a petroleum sulfonate and an ester or metal salt of an oxidized paraffin or petrolatum.
