METHOD FOR WEIGHT REDUCTION PROCESSING OF POLYESTER FIBER KNITTED OR WOVEN FABRIC

PURPOSE:To enable the sure regulation of a treating liquid at a prescribed concentration of a basic substance in a short time by calculating the amount of the basic substance required for preparing a treating liquid at the prescribed concentration of the basic substance and the amount of added water, and additionally feeding the basic substance and water based on the calculated values thereof. CONSTITUTION:The concentration (CE) of a basic substance in a treating liquid recovered after use for weight reduction processing and the volume (VE) of the liquid are measured to simultaneously set the concentration (CM) of the basic substance in the treating liquid and the volume (VM) of the liquid used for the next weight reduction processing. The additional volumes (A) and (B) of the basic substance and water are then calculated from the measured values and set values. The basic substance and water are then added to the recovered treating liquid based on the calculated values to prepare a treating liquid used for the next weight reduction processing.
