PURPOSE:To enable independent driving while driving source of a pump and the driving source of capping are made the same and to prevent loss by provid ing a first and second selection mechanisms respectively in a pressure generation means and in the communication means of an ink-jet head and the pressure generation means, so that only one side of both means is selectively driven according to the direction of rotation of the driving source. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 1521 is rotated in the direction A, a cam clutch gear 1605 is rotated in the same direction. Therefor a shaft 1607 is tightened by a clutch spring and rotated in the same direction. As a result, a cam 1608 is rotated and a cap unit 1300 is pushed up and becomes a capping state. When a motor 1521 is reversed, a shaft 1602 is rotated in the direction A and a clutch spring 1603 is rotated in the wind-up direction A and therefor a pump clutch gear 1604 is rotated in the direction A. Therefor a pump gear 1504D is rotated counterclockwise and simultaneously a pressure roller 1505 is successively rotated in the direction B. The pressure roller 1505 is stopped in the arbitrary positions such as P, Q, R and S according to necessary suction quantity. |
