The invention relates to an on-board bag or on-board tray which is especially intended to be fitted to the seat of a motor vehicle so as to be used either as on-board bag or as an on-board tray, or as a support for objects. The on-board bag, once positioned and fastened using the rods 10 (of the head restraint 11), and the fastening system 2 can pass from position A, vertical, to position B, horizontal, to end up in position C, and can do so by virtue of the two fastening pieces 5 and 17. The moving part is the part 1. The pieces 18 and 5 once associated allow objects such as a water bottle for example to be held in place. The on-board tray, consisting of the parts 7 and 1 can also be magnetised so that it can hold in place any metallic piece such as a metallised game for example. <IMAGE>
