PURPOSE:To provide a flexible pipe joint which can adjust a distance between a locking projection part and a jointing projection part and obtain the sufficient holding force of a packing. CONSTITUTION:No misalignment of an elastic packing ring 3 to a jointing pipe 4 happens because the ring tongue part 8 of the packing ring 3 is held by the a holding groove in a holding device 9 and held between a locking projection part 5 and the holding fixture 9. Proper tightening force is applied to a part of the packing ring 3 by respective bolts 12, so it is possible to hold it, under a uniform force without any clearance at a space between the locking projection part, 5 and the holding fixture 9. |
