<p>PURPOSE:To provide a headlamp abnormality switching device, in which wiring from a headlamp side to a meter panel side of a driver's seat is facilitated. CONSTITUTION:When at least one of headlamps 4R, 4L is disconnected, electric current in a path reaching respective headlamps 4R, 4L from a battery via a contact 5b of a relay 5 for the headlamps is changed. When a change of the current is detected by a disconnection detecting circuit 8, a front side microcomputer 9 lets the current flow in a coil 7a of a relay 7 for a fog lamp, so that normally open contact 7b is closed. In this way, respective fog lamps 6R, 6L are lit. On the other hand, the front side microcomputer 9 sends a warning signal to a meter multiple unit 2 via a front side communication part 10. A meter side microcomputer 14 in a meter multiple unit 2 inputs the warning signal via a meter side communication part 15, so as to light or flicker a warning lamp 13 according to the warning signal. In this way, disconnection in the headlamp is informed to a driver.</p> |
