SAFETY DEVICE FOR MULTI-STORIED PARKING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the drop and oscillation of a pallet during breakage of a chain by a method wherein a bracket and stay having a lock part is arranged to a suspension body for a traversable pallet and a contact part is arranged between a stay and a bracket. CONSTITUTION:A suspension body 12 of a pallet 14 on which a vehicle is place and which is traversable by means of a chain 13 is provided with a bracket 21 having a forward and backward movable lock part 22 and a stay 24 having an engaging part 25. A contact part in a longitudinal direction and a contact part 27 in a lateral direction are arranged between the bracket 21 and the stay 24. When the chain 13 is broken during the stop of the pallet 14, the lock part 22 of the bracket 21 is moved forward and engaged with the engaging part 25 of the stay 24 to prevent a drop and longitudinal oscillation owing to inertia and vibration of the pallet 14 is prevented from occurring by means of the contact part 27. This constitution prevents the occurrence of a drop and effects antiswing by means of a simple device.
