PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a powdery starting material mixture for a precursor of a superconductor by which an excellent recovery rate is attained and a shift in compsn. is inhibited. CONSTITUTION:In a method for producing a powdery starting material mixture for a precursor of a superconductor exhibiting superconductivity by heating, a solvent and an org. binder are added to powdery starting materials or a dispersant is further added. They are mixed to prepare a mixed starting material slurry and this slurry is subjected to spray drying or fluidized drying in a medium.
