PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material forming a recording image excellent in preservability against chemicals such as oil or a plasticizer and having excellent light fastness. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal recording layer and a protective layer containing a UV absorber are successively provided on a support, a hydrophobic UV absorber with an average particle size of 0.3mum or smaller is added to the protective layer in an amt. of 1-20% by wt. of the total solid of the protective layer. |
