PURPOSE: To provide a composite non-woven web which excellent abrasive and absorbent characteristics and is suitable for utilizing for a wiping fabric or a floor mat. CONSTITUTION: An absorbent, abrasive composite non-woven web has at least four layers. The two of the layers is layers 10 and 54 formed by melt-blowing method and other two layers is supporting carrier layers 14 and 58. One of the melt-blown layers is an abrasive surface layer formed from coarse mass melt-blown layer 10 and another melt-blown layer is disposed in the interior of the composite web and is adapted to provide absorbency characteristics to the composite. The carrier layers 14 and 58 may be formed from spunbonded webs. The abrasive surface layer 10 and its supporting carrier layer 14 are joined together by hot pin aperturing. |
