A conjugate corresponding to the formula: R1O-(P)-CO-X-R2 (I> in which: - R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a blocking functional group for a hydroxyl group, - the fragment R1O-(P)-CO- denotes the residue of a polymer of a hydroxycarboxylic acid of formula R1O-(P)-COOH, which is biocompatible and biodegradable, and - the fragment R2-X- denotes the residue of a molecule containing at least one mobile hydrogen atom and of formula R-XH where -XH is a nucleophilic group. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of this conjugate and a pharmaceutical composition including the latter.
