PURPOSE:To provide a glass bottle structure having a lid engaging part wherein a lid body is confined and retained in such a direction as to make it flush with a bottle body such as cosmetic container by an automatic bottle forming method. CONSTITUTION:As an engaging means capable of confining a lid body in the direction lying in the same plane as the vertical base line of a bottle body 1 to the lower peripheral edge of a neck part 7 of the bottle body 1, the depressed parts corresponding to lid engaging parts 6 are formed on both sides of a joint seam of a molding die of the bottle body 1 by an automatic bottle forming method, thereby making up a lid engaging structure. By this automatic bottle forming method, the lid engaging part capable of confining the lid body to the bottle body in flush relation can be accurately formed. This method is simple, the threaded engagement can accurately be effected without operational deviation and the improvement of productivity and the reduction of manufacturing cost can be contrived. |
