<p>PURPOSE: To save energy and to increase the treatment speed by taking out the blown air from a blow device blowing air against a paper web at the proximity of the outlet or the heat recovery part of an air system of a Yankee hood and returning the exhaust air to the proximity of the outlet or the heat recovery part. CONSTITUTION: In a Yankee press in a soft-tissue machine, the paper web W is introduced into the blow device 50 composed of a blow chamber via a guide roll 17 and the blown air P is blown against the paper web W, and thereafter, the web is made to pass through first and second nips formed between a Yankee cylinder 10 and press rolls 13, 14, is compressed and is then efficiently dried on the Yankee cylinder 10. The above blown air P is taken in from the proximity of the outlet or the heat recovery part 29 of Yankee hood blocks 11, 12 composed of the Yankee hood 15, and exhaust air from the above blow device 50 is returned to the proximity of the outlet or the heat recovery part 29 of the blocks 11, 12 in the same manner as above.</p> |
