PURPOSE:To allow a driver to easily and accurately recoguize a travelable area by providing a traveling route information supplying section and a travelable distance setting section. CONSTITUTION:A present location detection section 21 supplies a present location data DP to a traveling route setting section 28 on the basis of each data of a map data storing memory section 27, a GPS receiver 23, an earth magnetism sensor 24, a vehicle speed sensor 25 and a reference location data input section 26. Data DM of the memory section 27 and Data Dx of a destination data input section 29 are supplied to the setting section 28. Data DDA, DDB of a travelable distance setting section 15 is supplied to an image indication data synthesizing section 31 and a guidance statement making section 32. A picture signal SLY is formed from synthesized data DLY of the synthesizing section 31 by a picture signal forming section 33 and transmitted to an image indication section 34 to be indicated thereon. The data DDA of the setting section 15 is supplied to the guidance statement making section 32 so that the guidance statement is made. The guidance sound data DA is supplied a sound signal forming section 35 and a sound signal SA is supplied to a vehicle- mounted speaker 36. |
